They look very similar to calmini lift shackles, they have lifted my truck but the ride is no softer!!!

Shackles don't need braces??? i don't see the point in bracing shackles.

Also the banana shackles are only kinked so that they can allow a bit more droop travel before the shackle hits the shackle stop on the rear (if you have them fitted the right way) it does not matter what shape a shackle is, the only thing that effects how the shackle works is the distance between bolt centres in a straight line.
