never really had the need for a smaller impact gun myself
It makes every job a lot quicker with an impact gun, trust me once you have one you will use it for everything you can.

I think dewalt is out the question as they all have low torque settings

Do I need to say makita again? I was using mine at work today using a 32mm socket, it's a really good and slim, We use ours daily and the batteries last for ages and are showing no sign of deterioration, we regularly get dust and grease on it, but it just works! If I was buying for me I'd get a makita,

I have a 18v milwaukee drill, and it's served me really well. it is so powerful, and it's brush less too. I get dust sucking straight through the engine, and it comes out the other end without any problems. I regularly drill 25mm auger bits through hardwood without any problems, I'm stoked with it. their guarantee is also one of the best on the market, so I would definitely recomed getting a milwaukee, as it has served me, and a lot of people I know, very well

Think im going to go for the makita like i said they have never failed on me also those battery grinders look good... i have been looking at the 18volt models...

I have 1/2 and 3/8 dewalt impactors undone everything I've needed to and would recommend both
