I have a 410 with the original carb bit I have a massive hesitation when going from low rev cruise to a brisk acceleration. Its most prob the accelerator pump. Are these fixable?

I think the Maruti 970cc uses a different carb to the suzuki 970cc? is it an Aisin carb that is fitted? got any pics?

That certainly is a different carb to what we get on sj410s. ours are Aisin carbs

Explains why its crap then.. Plugs are black and I hardly use the choke.. Top end is good and seems to have enough torque to light up the rears when pulling away from the lights if I dump the clutch. But mpg is poor and this hesitation is a killer.

Twiss . a stock 410 carb would be as good as an su then if you have one knocking about. Else the su I guess is the way to go :)
