Edweird's Suzuki 410

Post by Edweird » Sat Apr 10, 2010 8:56 pm

I shit you not. Today, I was whisked away with by my Mum and Stepdad to a village outside Doncaster, upon arrival we examined, drooled and otherwise oogled at this damn near showroom SJ410.

27500 miles on the clock, which HAS NOT turned around. She still has her 26 year old deep tread Dunlop tyres with which she departed the forecourt. A freaking sunroof and gas strut assisted tailgate. I never knew SJ's had such fancy equipment.

Minor, and I MEAN VERY MINOR rust spots. Just enough to stop me entering it in the Lincioln Castle Car show this year.

I know how much you guys love pictures, so here you go.

There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

We have bought it Tramp, sorry

Yeah, I am going to look after it. If I get chance during the summer hols between the end of school and the start of college, I'm going to touch up the little bits of surface rust it has and get the paint job done up nicely, then I may take it to car shows and stuff, as it's so old and in such good condition.

I think I must have some automotive god smiling down at me to have found one this good.

How much did you pay for it ?

It looks nice. the dashboard on that one is rare, you dont see many of those around.
Your better off keeping it locked up in a garage when your not using it.

It's funny you should say about the garage, because we're actually in the process of clearing room in the garage for it to live.
