I got this problem. But as its rarely gets lower than 10C here its not that bad... But this is how i plan to sort it.

I'm planning to run the heater while the hole is open and make sure the whole core is getting warm.

Might be useful if your gonna run your Sammie's through a proper winter and you want to stay warm

Snow is alright but we only have a few days of it if we are lucky.
Not worth putting up with 6 months of grey miserable weather for it lol
