Where do you guys mount your cb aerials? I'm planning on mounting mine tomorrow but unsure where to put it? Thanks

Put mine on the nearside front wing, close to the windscreen pillar, then it could bend back and be clipped down on the roll hoop.
If it ticks over...leave it

I mounted mine on the back bumper
I've got a 1.5m whip antenna, sticks up higher than the top of the roof and makes driving through low car parks very amusing!
I need to dig it out and put it back on really :)

Mine is mounted to the tailgate at the rear, my fathers is mounted to the n/s rear wing

I don't like them up front, it annoys me them swinging around and i always think the aerial is going to ping back and chip my windscreen

Yeah it's the perfect way to chat while out in a group offroading, really helps while driving in convoy to meets as well.

Even driving around with 2 cars is made much more interesting when you can communicate!
I'm looking at doing ham radio licenses as a bit of a hobby.
Not really popular with off roading, but with a quad band radio you can pick up some interesting stuff!

Cb guy in maplins reckons you ideally want it as high as possible and in the middle of the roof to get the biggest ground plain for receiving.
if in doubt, FLAT OUT!
