Re: lifting an sj from standard
Ah right, I stand corrected... They were alright with a 2" lift from add-a-leafs but they don't flex much!!!
Basically my setup cost
£230 for new llama4x4 front leaf springs (still got massive shackles on the back lol)
£10 for the set of old shackles (massive ones on the back, cut down and redrilled ones on the front)
£25 for a set of polybushes (2nd hand)
£15 for the front shocks (2nd hand)
£0 for the rear shocks (2nd hand, someone gave them to me in a box of SJ stuff!)
£15 for wheel spacers (2nd hand)
£120 for the wheels
£340 for the tyres
non-height related:
£170 for the winch bumper
£120 for hd rear bumper
Also I am about tomorrow night but am popping to the pub for a pint after work so may be about 7 onwards

Ive also bought stuff like lights, new bolts, and u-bolts - which might be a good idea to replace at the same time, if you've got the funds

Good stuff mate. Speak then
Re: lifting an sj from standard
You should be ok with stock brakelines on the back, tbh I would just replace all 3 if you are buying fronts anyway.TommyH wrote:Is that all round scottie?

Re: lifting an sj from standard
Yeah I agree with that... I will be replacing my rear one with a braided extended hose when I (eventually) get some llama rear springs
Massive rear shackles and fucked springs seem to be holding up OK and they flex really well haha
Although I pay the price of the back end being really bumpy!!!
