Project KJA
Re: Project KJA
Nice work!!! Won't be long before it's on the road
Did you try to rotate the clutch release arm a few splines on the gearbox? Could have helped with the adjustment.

no, didnt want to mess with that, looks nice at the moment all painted and that. only took 10 min to modify the bracket.
bit of painting, shocks, headlights, front bumper and its done ready for mot, after i get the engine verified by a garage.

Not looking forward to that bit.

Re: Project KJA
the windscreen is the only hard part to put back in. the back piece and the door glass is easy, all I can say is to just really take your time, and preferably have someone help you that has done it before
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out
Re: Project KJA
Brilliant thread, and a stunning build. I like SJs a lot, and pick-ups about as much, so
Very tasty indeed, well done.

If your dad is used to doing minis, he must have actually got lost in the engine bay on this one! I used to have a '65 Cooper S... cracking but a complete 'mare to work on, and probably even more rust-ready.

Re: Project KJA
This was many many moons ago, I think the last one I remember in the garage was a racing green mini pickup, was pretty sweet, don't know where it ended up, got mine to play with now tho. Lol
I always look at the engine in the kja, and think that looks to small, was surprised how well it how's to be honest.

HI, been busy today,
bonnet has got to have 1 more coat of paint, then its only the doors left next week
glass has got to go in next week
ordering shocks and head lights next week,
backend finished apart from number plate, got a bumper to go on, but having second thoughts
got to get the engine checked for logbook next week, then mot hopefully once that comes back.
