Oh good, she can sunbathe with mine and take care of the kid... and we can do more manly things that involve off road cars, esp if you hire one! (might be able to take a few spares off it ;P )

Oh I will definitely be hiring one this time.... the best thing about rental cars is you don't have to fix them if they break a little bit ;)

Just thought i would share some good news, cause from a feeling of dread (you know the one where you put your hand in ur pocket to find out ur wallet isnt there) im now damn relieved!

I have been having the odd clonk when i pull away and change gear and had visions of all the UJ's being loose and rattling, then reading on here there was suggestions that the transfer box mounts could be gone.. Well all UJ's are perfect, no play at ALL, and the transfer box mounts look almost new. I saw some videos on youtube that mention that pinion gear bearings could be the cause of the noise and these are all 100% perfect as well! So the clonking noise i think is just a trait of the car i presume and she is fit as a fiddle! not bad for a 22 year old car.

Sorry for the pointless post but just had to tell someone lol.

Just a quick question... did you take the props off to check the UJs? If you do it with them bolted up you wont really be able to tell
