Re: where can we get muddy?
Hi Kev, do you have web sites or contact details for venues? Have already contacted Slindon/Boxgrove but they dont allow under 17's to take part. Is this a problem I'm going to come across everywhere? By the way, we are near Eastbourne.
Re: where can we get muddy?
hi j.
john at piccadilly wood lets the kids drive, he's at warninglid off the A23 about half way between brighton and crawley. the course is quite tough suggest u have a winch. http://www.piccadillywood4x4.co.uk/. very friendly site and if u stay in the woods its ok for standard cars but very muddy in some areas.
have a look at the pictures on their website and u will see
rob at core will also let the kids have ago but u MUST talk to him when u arrive. nice guy, good course, some real sticky and wet bits but also lots of nice routes for the kids might be a bit far for u to travel though, worth a look. http://www.core4x4.co.uk/
whats your off roader like? if u want to let me know if u go, if i'm off shift i'll go as well. i think its more fun if u have a few going round together and we can always help each other.
hope this helps. good luck..kev

Re: where can we get muddy?
Cheers for the help Kev,certainly be getting in touch with those sites. As far as the off roader goes. Well just bog standard 410 with heavy duty road tyres,no trick bits or bobs although looking at some of the gallery shots a lift (spoa looks best imo) and proper bumpers with a winch looks to be on the cards. See how we get on i suppose. When i sort a day out i'll let you know. All help is appreciated !!!!!!!!!
