Well it's been collected by my dad. It's MOTd and drives but has some interesting noises and rattles and clunks.
I need to have a good inspection of it and a drive when I get home but if i dont think it's up to it I'll be bringing the Samurai to Billing.

Sit rep.
Rear prop shaft UJ very worn. New one ordered.
Rear diff, despite me not doing anything to it, it's still seeping oil.
Transfer box appears to have developed an oil leak out of the rear output.
Body work, still rusting.
On ordering all the bits to sort out the various leaks, also gonna get some bearings and UJs in stock for a of a drive line overhaul.

Where did you get the UJ? I'm looking for a decent but cheap place to buy a few spare ones.

Phoned loads of places looking for Koyo bearings but no one I rang stocks them. In the end opted for a boggo standard ADL blueprint from Andrew page, £30 inc VAT. Been quoted £18-£20 plus VAT from a couple of mail order places but wasn't worth paying shipping just for one.Anton wrote:Where did you get the UJ? Decent & cheap those are two words that don't come together.....especially when UJs are involved.Anton wrote:Where did you get the UJ? I'm looking for a decent but cheap place to buy a few spare ones.
