mot!!

Im just enquiring about in wings on my samurai. As I. Puyting it through mot. Next week. They have the usual rot not to bad tho bit ive been told it dont come into the mot.? Any help mot wise

Any corrosion casing holes or weak enough to be pushed through with finger&thumb pressure or using the mot test "toffee hammer" within 30cm/12" of a structural mounting point is a failure. These would include battery mounting, body to chassis mounts, brake master cylinder mounts, etc.
Anything outside 30cm of structural points is classed as not testable.

yeah I remember doing a bit of work at a garage and seeing an old Volvo with a hole in the door you could stick your fist through pass its mot!
