Helens new GV

Post by dan_2k_uk » Sat Apr 19, 2014 12:38 pm

Went and bought this bad boy yesterday. Didn't give him £3k for it though.

2L petrol. Full service history. Its a later one so has the face lift interior.

Woohoo another 2.0 GV!

I driven mine 140 miles the other day and it's so sweet to drive, I am a bit jealous of the facelift interior though :( the double din slot is in a better higher place in the dash...

What does she think of it then? :)

She loves it even though she hasn't actually driven it yet (I did the test driving). We pick it up early next week as they are taxing it and putting a new battery in it for us.

I really wanted a face lift one as the difference between how new the dashes make them feel is massive so I'm well happy too.

Just need to find some nice alloys and tint the rear windows.

Anyone know if there is an official Suzuki dog guard?

I was pretty happy with mine when I got it even though I couldn't drive it, my dad was driving it everywhere with temp insurance haha

I was going to go for alloys but I got the 8 spokes and I'm pretty happy with how it looks now, just want to spray the bumpers and trim silver

I found tailor made floor mats for the GV 00-05

Not sure on dog gaurds, might need to have a look on internet but don't think my alsation sized dog will fit in the boot haha

There's plenty available that fit it but I want an official one if I can find one.

Don't even know if they exist though. There don't appear to be any fixings for one but I figured it might attach to the back of the seats of something.

I've managed to find a couple but not genuine suzuki

Here are the links to what I found

http://www.suzukidogguards.co.uk

This one is for the XL7 but I would think it fits the same

Edit: just seen your reply, I can only seem to find the genuine suzuki guards for the 06 onwards GV, it seems all that comes up when searching for things for my GV is the later models, thought I found a full double din kit once until it said 06 on

That Saunders T95 seems to be the cheapest best option. Seen that as cheap as £50
