I may save one !! What's people's thoughts on this !!

Post by mike harris » Sat Apr 12, 2014 7:36 pm

Hello lads.

I've just bought this samurai 40k from new, runs and drives, well the best I've ever driven.

1995 so it's fuel injected, interior like new. All the lights work, clock, trims in good condition, it's a nice suzuki. But oh my good god is it rotten. It lived in Bournemouth by the sea, looks like it was in the sea for most of its life !! But where it's done such low mileage the rust hasn't been touched. But it will gone, sills, arches, boot floor, bulkhead, rear step, front floors on seat mounts, seatbelt mounts.

Here's the catch, a friend of mine has a mint body, and I mean it's perfect. So do I build one up and sell it? Rather than break it re shell it quick and make a good car out of it. I have seen suzuki on eBay at mental prices so I half tempted not to break it.

Hmmmmm

My Sammy was a bit like that, but I wasnt able to find another shell up here. So I went crazy with my welder! Re-shell it, it'll be a crackin Suzuki once done

I'm going with re-shell it. Sell someone a decent bodied Zuk ready to go.

No poll needed on this one.
Save her.
A good body on good running gear should fetch good money
and you've kept another one on the road.
