HDR photos

Post by gsommo » Wed Feb 03, 2010 10:20 pm

Just thought I would share the wonders of HDR photography. I dont do it but my friend loves them and it makes some pretty cool photos, he took a few of my 2 cars the other day.

Dude, those look awesome. How are those made? Does he use photoshop, or something else?

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

To be honest even I am not sure, ill speak to my friend tomorrow and find out how the hell he does it.

All i know is that 3 pictures are taken of the same image, one normal, one bringing out the darks parts and one bringing out the light parts. On his computer these images are blended together to produce these. Pretty cool I thought.

If i get more info ill post it here. Makes an old rusty dirty car look sweet i thought.

Cool, thanks. I'd like to know how he does these, so I can try it myself.
