2003 Suzuki Jimny Pollen filter / cabin filter

hi everyone,

just a quick question......my wife has had her Jimny now for 6 years (i's a 2003 1.3 auto). Today I went out to see what parts I needed for a full service. When I went to look at the cabin filter I removed the plastic housing but didn't find anything!!!!! I was expecting to find the old one but it wasn't there. Did the 2003 model come with a filter to start with....and is it really necessary? the car does not have a/c.

If it has one id put one in there whats the worse can happen? It it cocks things up then remove it but im not jimny clued up so im not 100% sure fella.

thanks turbo-tom. Just puzzled why it's empty. We bought it when it was less than 4 years old and I certainly didn't take it out!!! Makes me wonder if there was one in there to start with - maybe they only fit them to cars with a/c?

No worries I will look further into in when im home. Not all cars have them some do some dont versa visa

Jimny's weren't made with them.

They were fitted in other markets and you can get one from a dealer or the bigjimny shop if you wish. Did you get the cover off OK? they can break quite easily.
