Rear seat for the SJ413.
I have managed to find a very tidy rear seat for my 1993/4 SJ413 but the bolt-holes on the seat's frame don't appear to match any corresponding holes in the vehicle. Should the seat have some additional sub-frame on which to sit?

Just to clarify if its a 93 its technically called a Samurai rather than an SJ413
These were all fitted with two individual folding seats, I assume you are putting in a (dog killer) bench seat? If so I'm not so sure on the mounting holes.... your Samurai should have 8 bolt holes, 4 for each of the individual seats

Oh 'eck! Thanks Twiss. I didn't know there was a difference. It's the bench-type seat - not the twin-type folding seat, and the anus is a Samurai. Look's like I'll have to ask our local blacksmith if he'll knock up some sort of adaptor-frame for me. I'm reluctant to start drilling into the floor of the vehicle.

Yeah a bench won't bolt straight into a samurai.

I have a 413 that used to have a rear bench - does that mean I can't bolt in the pair of seats out of a sammy?
I need a bench?

Hi Anton. If you get stuck in your quest for a rear bench seat, would you like the one I've bought in error, and I'll continue my own quest to find a seat appropriate to my vehicle? I can send you photos if required.

I have 2 of the samurai seats but they are not for sale im afraid (they are the original ones from my zook)
I can send you pictures of them if you want, going out to the garage in a bit
The later model samurai should have the plastic type individual seats, the earlier models had cloth seals
but both types will fit

How are they secured in the vehicle, easy enough to remove?
