Heater blower stopped working , help please

The blower on my heater has just stopped , 2004 alto, normally 3 speed....up to this worked very well not noisy , With no wiring info not sure what wiring goes to what? am i right to think there must be a relay , to give 3 speeds ? is this part of the sliding dash switch , any help please, any info, on previous posts, wrong time of year for this problem, cant clear screen etc :cry:

Have you checked the fuses first?

Thanks for your quick reply, Ladaman, Ist thing i ichecked, Im sure its not the Blower burnt out i think this would blow the 10 amp Fuse, thanks again

Most heater fans work via a resistor pack to control the speed and if doesn't work on any speed then its normally either the fuse blown or the motor burnt out.
I can't find a Alto wiring diagram :thumbdown:
Which model is it as they updated it in 2004.

thanks for your reply, Darrell, Any idea where this resister pack might be? Part of the switch on the dash? cant get at it but looks like several wires going to back of switch!! Just wish i new how to c
check main blower with 12 v. before i attempt to remove the center facia panel !! [looks a pig job] also getting to the blower wiring , just so little room, any other help on this this please any one who perhaps has a wiring diagram . with neg & pos colors .04 ALTO

i'd imagine it may not have burnt the motor out... when one of mine went it practically caught fire and filled the car up with smoke!!!
