Help!

Post by r0gu3trooper » Thu Jan 23, 2014 3:51 pm

Ive replaced my rear diff with a Sammy diff and need to know how tight to tighten the nut that hold the flange to the diff without using the tool garages use to tighten it. A to torque setting or so many turns of the nut?

If you back off the pinion bolt then you need to replace the crush collar as it will mess up the pinion bearing preload, this needs to be set up with the diff removed.

It's set up by measuring the starting torque.

I'm confused, didn't I just send you a prop flange to swap onto your prop so that you didn't have to remove the diff flange?
