Ok cool, i have asked the guy to give me a little more info regarding engine etc but other than that, i thought that it looked like a pretty good deal.

I will def need to go and see it, its just a bit of a ache as i am up in edinburgh and its in yorkshire, oh well i guess its worth it.

Thanks for the advice

Also its a 1991-92 model so if it is the 1.3 will it be the injection?

no 91-92 are definatly carb and because its a samaurai sport it will be the 1.3 engine. Actually its similar to my sj but that one has a black soft top and original seats. If its still available for £750 it seems like a good price, it would be interesting to know the mileage, because at around 50k miles you will probably be due a new carb, my original packed up at around 55k

a standard engine bay with the original carb looks like this (minus the speaker on the bulkhead, the alarm sounder and with a different jack)

although the carb may have been swapped already, or if it is still on the original aisin carb there are lots of options open to you if it does fail, personally i went for a weber becuase it came as a complete ready sorted kit

I think that it has done 66k. Is the injection engine more powerful than the carb engine too, or are they both 63hp?

Thanks for the picture, I have emailed the guy who is selling the sj for more info, he has not got back to me yet.

Also does anyone know of anywhere else where you can try and find samurais for sale? Any sort of breakers or anything like that?

I find that there are not actually that many knocking about. Its also amazing that lots of people these days are after one.

look in the difflock classifieds http://forum.difflock.com/adverts.php?c ... y=Vehicles

ebay but with suzukis ALWAYS go and look at them and give them a good test drive and a very good inspection before you put a bid in.
