decent front springs?

Post by suzukisteve » Thu Jan 02, 2014 12:01 pm

im gonna be in need of a new set of springs on the front od mine fairly soon as they are starting to invert and make noises at me :D

priced up some killen ones but they were 77.77 plus vat...EACH!

amk say they no longer stocked as they are obsolete.

blueprint only do rears

going to try kyb shortly but other than that I can't find any standard ones.

anyone know any decent sites that do standard front springs at all?

cheers

I got mine from Japanese4x4spares, but that was before they started selling shit springs, so avoid them at all costs!

Llama4x4 do standard height I think but not cheap, think £140 a pair is what I paid for my fronts...

get some brand new rears and then fit your old rears to the front! I would imagine they'll end up pretty much the same height, should ride and flex better as well

so forgive my stupidity here, but would the rears fit straight on or would I have to modify the spring mounts at all? and would it give me a level ish ride hight?

Just need to knock up something like this to move the shackle hanger forwards slightly.
