As im always playing around with my SJ i thought id start a build thread
My mods so far are
1.6 8v Vitara Engine
Vitara Power Steering
413 Transfer Box
Vitara rear axel with 9" cut off one side
Vitara rear Coils 8 -)
Spring Over on front
Front Sammy Axel with Vitara Diff
Front Springs moved in
Front Shackle Reverse
2" Body Lift
Poly Bushes
ProComp Front & Rear shocks
ProComp Steering Damper
Dakar 10x15” alloy wheels
33” Kumho KL71 tyres
Braided brake hoses
FreeWheeling Hubs
Modified Rhino Ray Bumper
Ramsey REP6000 winch.
Heavy Duty rear bumper with LJ80 Lights
Heavy Duty Rock Sliders
Last weekend i installed a Janspeed manifold and home made rear exhaust with a cherry bomb back box, ill take some photos n post them up tomorrow
I had these bad boys turn up today
I'll hopefully get them in this weekend ready for Marquenterre on the 25th

I got the first set of harnesses in last night, hopefully ill get my seat fitted tomorrow

With the shackle reversal the front suspension rides over the bumps, with the shackles at the front the suspension movement is all wrong the leaf springs tend to make the front end bounce and jump off the ground

i get the + side off revers in the shacks but i dont find i have a problem as they are. Is it a lot off work to swap them round? Coz if its a quick job id do it to see
