It's the astra shocks. There's a part number on here somewhere.

They're for 2" lift aren't they? Not sure what lift I'll get from the RRRUF, don't really want to lift it cause it's a good height as it is so if I can do the conversion so it doesn't lift it by much they'll be good like Scottie did with his YJ's

Re: Rear springs up front, racal springs on rear..
when I did this to mine I found that I only needed the astra shocks on the front, some how I have 4 which didn't get fitted lol. I used missing links which drop down when you jack it up. I found that I got so much articulation that I had to completly cut off the shock mounts at the front and make new ones. word of warning the astra shock are long but they do give a nice (softish) ride on the road
Re: Rear springs up front, racal springs on rear..
Okay so I know I have to move spring mounts for the rears up front but what about the rascal rears? Do I need missing link shackles/move the spring mounts or will extended shackles do it?

Re: Rear springs up front, racal springs on rear..
From what I can remember the rear rascal spring are the same length as the rear sj springs. they are a direct replacement and I didn't have to mod anything on the rear only swap them over.
However when it comes to putting the rear springs on the front they are alittle longer and because of that it moves your axle forward about a inch if you don't redrill the location holes. (but by moving it forward a inch gives you more room and a better approach angle. You have to make a bracket to hold the shackles about 2 inches forward than normal. I will try put a pic up of what I did with the missing links (had to build supporting bracket for the top of them) ither way u have to make something

Re: Rear springs up front, racal springs on rear..
I would rather move the axle foreward an inch so all I need to do is put the rear of the spring in the normal chassis mount then either make a new mount further foreward for the shackle of buy/make some missing link/d-flex shackles with a resting plate on the chassis...
I'm guessing the steering will be okay with the axle moving foreward? Did you need a prop spacer aswel? As I'm guessing one is needed with the axle being further away from the tbox
If you could post a few pics of yours then that would be great!
So rascal rears are a straight swap using the standard shackles?

Re: Rear springs up front, racal springs on rear..
yea you need a 1 inch prop spacer I got mine from jimny bits for about £40.
The rascle rears are a straight swap, I made my shackles when I was finish to make the vehicle sit the way I wanted it to. But standard ones would be fine. What size tyres are u putting on?
