1.6 insurance shocker

Thought I'd better speak with the insurance company
To decide if im going 1.6 16v or not

After a long wait on hold the price was announced ......

£0 increase

Happy days

Right now all I have to do is get the donor vitara running. :lol:

Result!

It was similar when I fitted the 1.5 16V in mine, it only increased by abut £30 a year. Plus it was cheap in the first place.

One of the VERY FEW benefits of being over....... er 25, (by quite a bit). :hahaha:

Mine was the same. Phoned up expecting to pay a few extra quid but got told it made no difference.

Mine weren't fussed either. Just wanted to know it was in there for paperwork.

i was quite surprised when i spoke to my insurance company about saying i have bull bars, side exhaust etc and they said aslong as it was on the paper they was fine about it and my insurance didnt go up atall.

My insurance told me they wouldn't insure me if I change the engine to anything other than the f10a

Guess I'll be changing my insurance company next year...

My insurance conpany will only insure modifed cars so they dont charge extra for mods
And its cheaper for me to insure my czt 1.5mivec turbo modifed 200bhp insurance groupe 16 hatch back
Than it is for me on a citroen c1 insurance group 1

some leaks here and there

Its a familiar story but 2gether is modded only so I don't pay extra for mods either :)
