Arches - which ones to buy?
Arches - which ones to buy?
Im looking for some proper wheel arch extensions
Does anyone know where I can get these in the picture? The advert seems to be advertising a lift kit from Thailand and not the arches -

Or can you tell me which Landrover arches will work best?
Or have seen these on Ebay and would be interested to know if anyone has used them? Are they just landrover arches at a slightly inflated price because they also fit an SJ?-

Many thanks

Re: Arches - which ones to buy?
I used the Defender ones on my SJ...paid a tenner for 4 on ebay. They fit easily, drill a few holes for bolts/self tappers.
If it ticks over...leave it

Most have just made arches from steel or rubber.

That was 9 years ago! Keep looking, they do come up cheap from time to time.

Depends what you want I suppose, dan and Scottie have done a similar thing using rubber or plastic? Looks a nice simple way of doing it and looks smart! But if you want to e complicated like me then you could use steel trailer arches which I think turned out nice on my SJ, have a look at my build thread if you want

Those are Bushwacker style arches, the genuine article are quite expensive, copies are more affordable but not cheap either:
