arch extensions -roofing material? Help

Hi Guys,

I seem to remember seeing a couple of SJs on here that used a black roofing material to extend thier arches?

Im struggling to find any details of this through the search function. Can you help?

I want to extend my existing arches out slightly and the black plastic roofing material idea came back into my head....but now I can find any specific details!

Also whats the best method of securing this material to the arches?

I have a Sammy and plan to leave the standard metal arches on and wish to attach the extension to these.

Or use convayer belt and cable tie or bolt on
