Think it's 50mm. Ideally like it to be 60mm and enter the wing in the middle, makes the pipework easier.

Re: suzuki steve's 410 build
would the 54mm not be enough for the f10a? I believe the standard intake daimeter is 52 od on the airbox

Re: suzuki steve's 410 build
Probably fine on the 1.0, I don't notice much difference on the 1.6, making 60mm just makes all the internal pipework alot easier.
The snorkel currently goes through the wing where the Samurai badge is, fine on samurai wings but when I swap to my 410 front clip I'll need that hole for the indicator. That's why I'd like to change it, it would also line straight up to the carb that way too.

Re: suzuki steve's 410 build
ah fair play dude, I much prefer the 410 front ends too. I think the way im gonna run it is gonna be a few inches in front of the battery then into a flexy pipe to the air box. that way I can just run a standard air filter with a sealed box and have the snorkel more low profile.
nice bit of black paint to offset the green body work and it'll be sweet. I only paid about 13 or so quid for the tube so this is gonna be a nice cheap mod in the end

I think it's gonna look spot on. Can't wait to see it fitted.

Re: suzuki steve's 410 build
well lads, dropped the suzuki over to some mates who run a place called read performance. They're gonna bend the tubing up for my snorkel and then hand it back to me for paint.
ill put some pics up shortly but I thought I might show you what they are into. this belongs to one of the guys there, callum. he's rebuilding the truck from the ground up

I would say they know what they are doing!
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Re: suzuki steve's 410 build
yeah they are good lads. slight change of plan with the snorkel. Basically the pipe I brought was a slightly wrong diameter for their pipe bender. so the guys are gonna use some of their own stuff, its ali coated I think so should help with the tin worm. sjould be done and dusted by mid week I hope

how about electrolysis? this might be an issue where steel and ali meet
