terra tagging,today

Post by d86 » Sun Dec 13, 2009 3:56 pm

well just got back and wat a day my feet are freezing.

ended upwith 39 points, made me 11th out of 42 well chuffed.
because i spent most of the day with next to no clutch due to the depth of the water,(over the bonnet in a suzuki is not fun).

also i did it on my own in the car so that made things even more interesting.

i will post some pics when i nic them of the terrataging site(to hard to take pics and drive at the same time).

pics later.

yes andy drove on my own.
had them put the card on the drivers side,(face it i was never going to win any prizes)

so as you can imagine i had to reverse up to most of the punches as they wer set up for passengers to punch.

then photos are at the top in the car park.

the other end of the quarry was they say upto 7-8 feet deep, and yes they did put 2 punches (floating ) in there.
i was luky and got one but i dont think anyone was stupid enught to go for the other one.

what seems to happen, two cars tend to team up, and pull each other out if they get stuck,(saves giving up a playing card). on a lot of the forest tags, it pays to send the passenger to find a route!. looks like scott wants to come along, and im sure theres a few around bristol etc, for the next one. theres a social night tomorow, but its at jun 23 m5.

did you see the photos??

andy.
