hi to all Lj 80 lovers
hi to all Lj 80 lovers
Wow what a great site... as a kid i recall dad had a yellow Lj80 and I loved it. I remember one weekend at rainbow beach Australia there were cruisers, patrols and hiluxs bogged all on one track, but not us,haha we cruised past all of them asking if they needed a hand to get out, grunts were the reply..after owning my share of cruisers, hilux, wrangler and patrols I have now just picked up a 1980 Lj 80 in excelent condition original condition.im so happy to finally have one, the elderly couple shed a tear when they dropped it off to my partner.i will be using mostly for beach driving so I really need to run at least 31 inch tyres and a lift to get it clear of the deep tracks, and a tad more power from her,id love to hear from you all.anyway hello from Glen in Australia.

Thanks fella,s. I think the tubes off bullbar are something to do with it being towed behind a motor home most of its life, if my rods fit I will be using them.
