Difference Between Jap & Spanish Ignitions

As above guys what is the difference between the jap & the spanish ignitions, is it the fact that one has round stalks/connections and the other square, if so which is which so I know if I'm getting the right one

Round stalks are jap. Square are spanish.

while on the subject is there any difference in the door locks or will both jap & spanish fit?
