This used to happen to me all the time when I lived in Swansea for a while so I know how incredibly frustrating it is.

A while ago some thieving little scrote broke into my garage so I now have it rigged with alarm mines.

These set off blank shotgun cartridges in such a way that anyone trying to get in the door or window is going to have a really bad time.

The best bit is, I phoned Wiltshire Police's firearms department and ran it past them first. They said it's perfectly legal as long as I use the proper signage on the boundaries of the property! Now I can't wait to hear one go off in the night so I can run out and catch some disorientated cretin rolling around on my garage floor... :hammer2:
You need to get some very stealthy cameras rigged up so we can see it! :hahaha:
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Yeah, if there's one thing I can't stand it's a thief.

You can get them here:

Edweird, cameras are my next addition.

:cowboy::

It's annoying, in the US you are allowed some really cool stuff that's totally illegal here such as canisters of CS gas that go off once you're inside the building!

Personally I think if you're prepared to break into someone's property you should be prepared to accept the consequences!

Rodden, the ONLY downside is if you've had a few beers and you suddenly remember you need to grab a tool from the garage you have to remember to disable them!

Bizzarely, they're also designed in such a way that you could easily but live cartridges in which doesn't seem very sensible

Also, the standard cartridges you get for them aren't that loud but if you know anyone with a cartridge press you can make full size blanks which are A LOT louder!

My Father use to work in the Secruity, CCTV and acess control trade, and the stuff he fitted over the years was unbelievable... fitting smoke clokes, smart water etc, and he said some of the stuff the USA use it mental compare to the stuff we use over here.

I know its a landrover but just some pictures of when i done mine, two steel plates and sandwidge the roof together with 32 studs and two tubes of sticker flex dont leak at all!

Image

waited for it to dry then used a knife to clear off remaing sticker flex
Image

looks like this from the inside

Image

then i havent got a finished picture but i sprayed the roof black and put back all the oringinal sunroof trim so it just looks like night time and then sprayed over the roof outside dont even notice it now!
