One more thing! My sump is leaking oil, think I need a washer for it. Has anyone else had problems with it?

Might just need nipping up. Failing that when you do an oil change next just take the sump plug and washed to any motor factors. They usually have a load of various sizes you can match it too.

Re: Front Suspension problem!
You can undo it a little and then wrap some PTFE tape around it and tighten it back up.
That's what I did last time I changed the transfer box oil and it leaked a little.

Did it work? I would imagine it still seeping through and eroding over time.

Worked fine, been like it for yearsTomBod08 wrote:Did it work? I would imagine it still seeping through and eroding over time.
But it doesn't get anywhere near as hot as an engine, but ptfe is rated to "260 degree C" continuous use
And next time your get probably get a new washer.
I just wrapped it around a few threads, more like string than tape, if you get what I mean.
