What's the difference between the shackle reverse kit and the kit I have? And why wouldn't you touch them with a barge pole :'(

I would touch all calminis gear as its nice and solid i have it on my truck , but its just the springs that let them down as there weak as hot butter.

Calmini springs are famously solid!
If you bought the exact one in the link in your original post they aren't calmini springs. That kit is a mix and match of calmini and mountain goat parts. And you have far too much money.
The standard set up has the spring hanger behind the front wheel and the shackle to the front. The shackle reversal has them the other way round and looking at images i can find the new spring hanger sits slightly forward of the original shackle.
Edit:- i won't touch calmini gear as the last time i dealt with them they lied through their teeth and the customer service was appalling! I have heard very good reviews for mountain goats service though.

Haha I wanted to make sure I had a decent set up, guess I'm getting shot down at the moment , yeah it is the same kit as shown before, who could I get longer shackles from? Bearing in mind I probably couldn't do them myself :-(

Most shackles are +2" which is far too long.
If you not happy making them yourself you could always take a standard one to any good machine shop and ask them to make a pair up that are longer.

I looked into calmini springs And the hhardness of them.
They were known for being too hard. Then they changed and it would appear that

I don't know much about changing shackle length, Scottie is the man to get advice from. If he says 100mm i'd go with that.
How much longer than standard springs are your lift springs?
I think you will still need extended bump stops.

Although mine aren't Calmini springs, the ride I have now is bumpy as hell, especially compared to how it was with my older springs. I have taken a leaf out of each spring, how long does it takes for them to soften a bit?
