Next up was to ship it over to its new home and thats when the issues started

bloody thing would start, I killed the battery so the golf came to my assistance and it finally got started and was loaded up
and off on a little boat we went
then it REALLY didnt wanna play
After a few " experts " had a play, a new coil, leads, plugs, CARB, dizzy, a few more cups of tea, re wiring of the coil, old carb back on, it was finally established that the ignition switch allowed it to spark 2 or 3 times then stop.
a Positive wire was ran direct from battery and all was good for the charity off road day.
The old girl, completely untested, performed faultlessly for the morning

, the smoking

reduced down to one a mile

and held her head up well even helping tow out a 110 Landie.
Next up, oooops

Bought it, moved it, drove it, then my mate rolled it.. . . . .
