Hmm, yet again an omission from the Haynes guide...
My tit/side sunroof is stuck slightly tilted down (just enough to be very noisy and let water in). I haven't got any blown fuses, so its the motor that's failed.
I was hoping I could remove just the motor, so as to replace/repair it and manually crank the roof closed. I've managed to remove the roof console for access, but it seems I can't remove just the motor, but have to remove the entire sunroof which, apart from requiring the removal of the headlining(how?), would let in even more water....
additional facts:
There is a small relay(?) on the side of the motor with 7 connections,
Power is getting to the lights in the centre console.
any ideas?
sunroof stuck slightly open... help!
Re: sunroof stuck slightly open... help!
If u can get to the motor terminals just bypass everything with some wires and run from a live to one side of the motor c if it works
