I know this has been asked a million times before but I can't decide what to do
my front leaf springs have seen better days, I can get some new standard ones for about 60 odd quid plus vat each. this is a bit pricey for me and all things going to plan I may have just brought a flat with the missus!
whats gonna be the cheapest option for me to do in everyones opinion?
they are almost inverted now

Buy some 1.5-2" rear lift springs and do a rears up front conversion

As said. RUF. Only needs one set of springs buying and will give a lot more flex up front.

okie dokie. just gotta find some rascal rears then. is there much modification required to fit em? or is its pretty much a bolt on conversion?

You need your rear SJ springs to fit to the front. As they are longer it requires reloacted front shackles. Something similar to Scotties front YJ mounts.
To lift the rear you can fit rascal springs but if you can afford it i'd recommend a set of propper lift springs like Llama.

Cheap add-a-leaf. BUT dont do it

Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

yeah I was originally thinking that but it'll just make the ride absolutely solid and I need a bit of flex! gonna have to wait a lil while as it would seem that we've just brought a flat
complete with a man shed I might add!
