Often when I turn the key to start my 1992 Samurai there is a click but nothing happens, it does start if I continue trying. The starter motor is very inaccessable below the carb, inlet manifold air cleaner etc. can you remove the solenoid without taking off the starter, and can it be cleaned or serviced to improve starting? Hoping for some help before I attempt to do it myself, might just get the local garage to do it for me if access is difficult as it probably needs a pit or lift to do it properly.
cheers.

Thanks for the info I have printed it out and will fit the 30 amp relay, it seems a good long term and reliable solution which is easily accessible.
