Welcome Back, Old Friend!

Post by rory-ray » Thu Aug 22, 2013 9:00 pm

Well, I decided to throw the keys in on my current vitara project last week.

I sold it to my mate for what I payed for it, and sat back and wonderd what to do. I Viewed a sj, and 2 vitaras, both over priced and for what they were not worth much more than scrap value.

Yesturday i thought F it ill buy something when it comes along, it came along a bit quicker than I expected.

A text from a number I wasn't familer with said 'Are you after a vitara' I replyed yes whos this, it was the girl who bought my white vitara last year, saying shes moving and cant take the vitara with her because she STILL hasn't passed her test. Its been garaged since I sold it too her and hasn't moved.

So I asked how much (bearing in mind I sold it to her with tax and test for £1000) she said for a quick sale £400, I said all I got is £300 until end of the month, she excepted the offer on the grounds that I collect it this weekend. Im going there Saturday night, and all honesty I cant wait!

This was my first proper 4x4 project, I bought it bog standard and from sheer luck and chance I managed to everthing I wanted and more with it, it was a good project for me and a lovley car to own, ive always missed it from the day I sold it so I could not turn down the opportunity to own it again.

The spec was

+2" rhyno rays springs

+2" pro comp front and rear shocks

Omp super touring steering wheel and boss

Off road armory winch bumper

Black roof

Matt black GV bonnet with scoop

Marshall venture 31" tyres on Daihatsu rims

I also undersealed and repainted the inner arches, and generally tidyed it up

Heres couple of pics a week before I sold it, cant wait to get it back!
