Hi guys im thinking of turboing my vit engine has any one seen it dun or dun it allready
Whats your thoughts ???

SU won't be happy with boost, the MG Metro Turbo had a special version of the SU to work with the turbo.

You can also buy a turbo rebuild kit for the HIF44 SU, and convert it into a turbo SU

don't forget about the higher pressure caused by having a turbo. not just a bolt on job

From what I have read a stock engine should handle up to 6-8psi boost.

scottie thanks for the link that is how i was going to do it
keeping in mind that this is only a 1300 and mine a 1600 as long as i dont get a big stupid turbo i think ill be good
