Post by dndnk » Sun Aug 18, 2013 8:08 pm

Thanks for a great weekend even if my zuke only lasted half the first day . Was great to finally meet up and put faces to names to
SJ 410 currently off road waiting to leap out of hibernation.

Please visit wifes web site http://www.apassionforcakes.co.uk/index.htm you might even find a zuke on there :-)

It was another excellent weekend. Another worth while long trip.

Great to meet more members of the club and see some more Zuks.

I hope everyone had a good journey and made it home safely

I think wagtail should be a yearly meet

Thanks everyone! Special thanks to Scottie, Scottie's dad, Ed, and everyone else who was willing to risk their SJ by having my hulking, heaving self weighing down their passenger seat... Awesome weekend!

Next time, I'll bring an SJ, and you lot can rest easy knowing that your passenger seats aren't in danger. I can't promise the same thing will be true of your rear bumpers, though...

Cracking idea. I'm thinking of organising a mini-meet (SE meet) at Mud Monsters sometime, they sometimes do a camping weekend with offroading and night-time driving, so maybe the next one they do I could organise to have a few of us get our own reserved area... ;)

And then we'd have a chance to show the Fail Rover owners what a real offroader is like...
