I am going to mount my old m8000 on the rear, this goes against all in which people are telling me to do, as m8000's melt syntheic rope like most low line winches. But my plan is to wrap the drum in exhaust heat wrap and see how it goes. (If it all goes tits up il replace it with an external braked winch)

My plan is to make two L shape brackets which will go down the inside of the rear chassis and up and over the fuel tank. Then box section linking the two together filling the gap between the chassis and the body. Then a winch troff in the back a few inches back from the rear door, whith some kind of twin hawse setup so the rear door will have a cut out so when you shut it, it pokes through the door. The winch at floor level and the hawse higher few inches up the rear door.

Maybe?!

I refuse to move the fuel tank, it's a long standing bet I have with my dad.

Learnt my lesson the other week I need to mount waffle boards somewhere too, ideas?

Wouldn't mind having a spare wheel and tyre in it too, but I am worried about it getting too heavy. That and I have no wheels to mount my spare boggers on lol !! :)

It's looking a bit sad for its self at the moment lads :(

Work seems to be getting in the way of doing anything to this.

Hello people !!

Sorry I haven't been on here for a while, works been mad !!

Here is my new plan of action.

-Build new front axle
-take out rear axle and strengthen it more
-fit rear winch...
-cut sills back to allow for more articulation, tyres just nip the inner sill on full lock on full articulation.

Use it. Then break it again I expect !!

Mike :)

You love it. We all do, it's a sickness really - but we love it.
