I found a smart phone app today called Zello, which allows you to use your phone as a kind of internet walkie talkie.
It's free and I was thinking it might be good for those going to events in convoy. I know Jordi was on about picking my up at Doncaster or somewhere and heading down towards Wagtail with a few other Zooks. I think it would be a good idea to have some communication between the vehicles in the convoy and not everyone has a CB radio.
The app is dead simple to use too. You download it, make an account, add people you know and communicate directly or you can make a channel and have a group chat. It's basically how this forum works but with voice instead of text.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

That way, you won't have to catch bits of BBQ... or listen to the din my exhaust makes! ;)
Hope your still up for pushing us there as we've converted the fuel tank to hold cider. :S We do have a cb but two paper cups & a piece of string may be better!
