Why Have They Done This

Recently Done My SPOA Sammi Axle Conversion On My 410 But With The Astra Shocks Fitted They Were Bottoming out So Cut My Old 2" Lift Shackles Down By About 1" But Ever Since They Look Like This

Was it looking alright before u cut the shackels :er:

Is it only on one side or both?

Did you cut the old perches off and weld them on spoa or get new perches and weld them on above the old ones?

Could you have welded the perch too far in on the axle? Can you measure up how far it is between the middle of each spring at the axle and post up the results?

It's The Same All The Way Around The Car, The Saddles Are New Ones Welded On In The 410 Position On Top, And Were Abouts Did You Want The Measurements From ( Middle Of Spring To Back Plates?)

He wants to know the distance between the perches so he can work out if the axle is out.

After Closer Examination It Would Appear They Lean Because The Holes Don't Line Up! :oops:
