Didn't check that as my volt meter is in the old mans garage! I did swap the coil for the new one off the other truck but didn't make a difference? Or would that not work? Even rang the local garage but he said that they would of checked exactly what I had already checked! But I could drop it off with them! well there's no fun in that is there! Ill get the meter on it during the week and double check it!

It certainly sounds like you have no power to the coil and dash. You could run a wire (fused at 15a) temporarily from the battery positive to the coil positive, leaving the existing wires attached to feed solenoid/dash.
This is just to see if it would run. If it does then obviously you have a break in the original wiring that will need finding.

And if it blows you know the 'proper' fuse has gone to, and that you have an earth fault on that leg of the circuit!

ok so ive runn a wire from the battery + to the coil + and the lights on the dash worked but were on constantly, even with the ignition off, obviously! But still no spark! It's turning over ok and there's fuel getting through but it just doesn't want to fire! :S I'm away this weekend so will have to wait till next week but if anyone can help! My first thought is the dizzy? It's electronic but don't want to take it apart before I have a read up on them!

Here is a link to the "Ignition" section of the workshop manual http://www.4x4.in.th/manual_sj413/chapter8.pdf

Your need that multimeter though ;)
