Yeah hopefully well my dad will have anyway i cant get insurance on it!! not that ive passed my test anyway yet!
i quite like the surfs but i dont think they have much character!

I thought you had passed your test.
Surfs are a nice motor. Gutless, thirsty and slow though. Gotta keep on top of the rust prevention too, jap imports have no winter / salt / rust protection.

Slow, uneconomical, gutless, prone to rust.
Yup, got me there. A landrover with a bit more luxury. I'd love to say it was a reliable motor but several blown radiators and the constant fear the head was gonna crack. My dad ran it for a bit then traded it in.
Cak electrics too, CD player worked when it wanted, as did electric aerial, rear window relays constantly went mental and did as it pleased. Wheels were so badly corroded around the beads they constantly went flat.

Lol yeah dont sound good for a toyota though! Luckily with dads p38 we havent had any major problems touch wood! Just a vacuum hose split causing it to run lumpy, cd changer died, subwoofer amp died, heater blower died,oh and a leaky rear window. Thats it really!
