Re: Mikes Samurai build updated 17/05/13 :)
I appear to have missed the updates where it broke.
Some serious bad luck Mike. Please tell me you got more than one use out of it before it blew up?
Those were all the uprated shafts too, must have been some serious hammer to destroy all of that. I hope you get it all sorted.
Whats the thought on a near standard front axle with no locker just to get it going again?
While you save / build / mod another front one?

Cheers lads,
Plan jordi is to just save and do it all in one hit.
New shafts and cvs, locker, truss the axle. All in one go.
You may not see much progress for a few weeks at least.
Need to sell some more parts to try and buy the bits !!

Yeh much like the back axle, but go even madder.
May even pull the back axle out and do some more on that too as I have time to fiddle with things.
Rear winch is on my mind to, but need to find a way of insulating my m8000 to stop it melting the plasma !!

Re: Mikes Samurai build updated 17/05/13 :)
Well, it's all come to a grinding haunt, hit a wall ECT !!
Looked into things a bit more and for me to progress I need to invest a lot of money into a few parts, I have found what I want so now it's a case of saving for them. They are eye wateringly expensive, but should do the job.
Also going to order some bits from over the pond to which I need.
So my plan is to bolt the front axle back together with nothing in it. So I can move it into storage, where it can sit and not be in my garage annoying me !! Then my plan is whip an axle from one I am breaking and start building it up as and when I can afford the parts.
I get the feeling this may take some time with my current financial status lol !!
But hay ho, not giving up just yet.
Watch this space lads....
