Home made wheel arch extentions

Post by HuwJones » Sun Jun 23, 2013 3:58 pm

I was wondering, instead of buying some expensive wheel arch extentions. for 1 or 2 days of playing a year, could i bolt a piece of 5mm thick rubber on the inside of the arch that sticks out a few inches, would it be legal?
I think it would be legal, because the idea of the arch sticking out further than the wheel, is to stop debris being picked up by the wheel and hitting other vehicles.
So what do you guys think?

Thanks

Huw

Thats what most of ours are.

My current ones are plate steel but when i fit my new front clip i'm going to do a small 2 or 3 inch steel arch sticking out and then fit bigger runber arches to that.
