If you need to drive it remove the PAS belt.

Remove the old pipe if you can and stick a photo of it up for Scottie to compare. If his isn't a match have a ride round the hydraulic / plant / machinery repair places with it for a quote.

If you just want it fixed asap Pirtek can do it no problem. I would imagine they would be cheaper than Suzuki quoted too.

the fastening of the pipe to the hose seems fairly straightforward, the other side seems more complicated, any heads up?

The high pressure pipe is just bolted to the pump and box with one banjo bolt at each end.

Remove the bolts and if possible cover the holes / refit the bolts to prevent any crud going in. Be careful not to lose the washers.

Let us check that they are the same first ;) ill take them off and take some pics for you tomorrow evening. I'm not 100% sure the 2.0l pipes will be the same, all depends if the pump mounts in a simulate location.

I believe the 2000 pipes are different to the 1600
I think the corroded pipe is the green one.
Pirtek list banjo bolts in there catalogue and would probably make you a hose with one on either end to replace the green and blue hoses (unless they have a fitting to connect to the blue hose, therefore making just a replacement green hose).

It is on the high pressure side so you can't really bodge something up temporary.
