Thought it was. 150Tonney is pretty impressive to me honest!, Where my unit is its on a lorry yard and you see all the lorrys all mercs n scanias but there nothing impressive as they only deliver plants to the garden centres with the chilled trailers! BORING!!!! :roll:

You wanna try driving along the A75 from Stranraer to the M74. In the dark on the single carriage way you hear the Irish catching you before you see their lights. Then as soon as you drop a mile and hour they literally thunder past.

Aha! sounds like a bag of fun! Not sure if i want to be a lorry driver! i think i wouldnt mind the general driving but its the parking side of things i wont be able to do !

Its a practice thing. I've even parked in the lines tonight.

I hang over into the bays on both sides so effectively take 3 spaces instead of just two. But i'm in the lines.

Gotta admit some days i am useless. You come to manouvere and can have all the space in the world but if you get yourself lined up wrong first time then you make a cock of yourself and end up doing 10 shunts.

I'm sure by the time i've been doing this 10yrs i might atleast make an average driver.

Yeah I guess you can only work with what you get! I reccon european stuff would be pretty cool like on the autobarns but I guess it aint fun when your trucking with atleast 80t on the back! and some moran cuts you up!

Its pretty hard to get cut up when you're only doing 40mph.

We don't run heavy in Europe. Did have permits for overwidth / length for France, Belgium and Holland but i think they have all expired now.

As we are busier with UK work he's stopped sending wagons abroad. Think the last trip was last July.

Oh really? I didnt realise you was limited on them! Yeah I neally bought a book the otherday about the biggest moves in the uk and america there like moving full size houses n shizzle! :shock:
