I think i made a bit of a classic mistake last night!
I went to do some welding on my SJ chassis and without thinking attatched the earth to the gearbox. Went to weld and the arc was really weak and not penetrating. Then i look to my left as there is a funny smell to see the braided rear brake line has heated up, melted through and caught fire! must have been the only conductive bridge between the chassis and the transmission
Whoops
